PROFILE

The Department of English, St. Teresa’s Arts and Science College, Mala started functioning along with the inception of the college in 1975, handling English Part 1 course for B.com and BBA students. In 2020, the Department was officially inaugurated with the introduction of BA English Literature.

The Department is committed to the holistic growth of students and their evolution in to socially concerned and committed individuals.

To offer students adequate communication skills to prepare them for their professional needs in today's globalized scenario.

MISSION

To inculcate a spirit of enquiry in students and to transform them into rational human beings through literary, theoretical and linguistic teaching.
